Photo Quilts . . . are custom designed and made to your specifications. Quilt prices range from $25 to $40 per square foot, depending on the complexity of the design and number of photos. Quilts are made from 100% premium cotton and are machine quilted. Because of the time required to complete a quilt, I create only a limited number of them each year. Please contact me for the estimated delivery time for your quilt. Here are a couple of examples of photo quilt that I've made: Sawtooth Star Family Photo Quilt   This quilt was made for a 90th birthday celebration.  Members of the family sent photos to be included in the quilt. This quilt is a twin size and included 18 photos.  The price for this quilt is $750 plus shipping.  Other sizes are available. Custom Memorial Photo Quilt This quilt was made with clothing and photos. This quilt consists of 12 photos and an embroidered center square.  The size is approximately 45 x 45 inches.  The price for this style and size quilt with 12 photos, and incorporating clothing is $675 plus shipping. Some general information: Both black and white and color photos can be printed on fabric.  Sending Original Photographs Original glossy photos work best.   Photos should be between 4 x 6 inches and 8 x 10 inches in size.  The larger the better.  It is easy for me to "shrink" a photo to fit into the quilt design, but almost impossible to enlarge a small photo and retain the resolution. You can send original photos that can be scanned and transferred to fabric.  I will return your photos with your quilt. Photocopies of photos or photos printed on a color printer do not scan well. Sending Digital Photos Digital photos can be sent via e-mail or saved to a CD-ROM and mailed.  I will transfer the photos to fabric. When scanning photos, scan them at 300 dpi or better and save them as .jpg files with 100% quality. When taking photos with a digital camera, it is best to take the photo on the highest quality setting which will result in a large file.   >1MB is preferred.  Files need to be saved in .jpg format. It is easy to "shrink" a  photo, but almost impossible to enlarge a small digital photo and retain the resolution.  Remember - the larger the better! When e-mailing photos, do not resize them, send as original size. E-mail your photos a few at a time.
