Cathy - I can't tell you how thrilled I am with my quilt! I almost cried when I saw all my favorite shirts and sweatshirts (and more importantly, memories) all assembled so beautifully. I can't believe how well your quilting of each individual panel preserves the shirts. Some of the shirts I sent you had been worn a LOT and look like they are going to last a long time as a quilt (when they were on their last legs as a shirt). You did an incredible job. Besides the color, fabric and design -- the craftsmanship is truly wonderful. I took about 30 minutes just looking at how it is sewn together. I especially like the way you made it so that I could hang it either way and the special pocket on the back with it's own history on the card. I have never had anything commissioned for me before.
