Pricing is for a completely finished, machine quilted t-shirt quilt. I provide all materials and labor. All you need to do is send your t-shirts to me, along with this order form, and I will turn them into a beautiful quilt!

Your t-shirts should be laundered and in good condition - stains or discolorations will show up on your quilt. Please do not cut your t-shirts - if your shirts are cut too small, there may be an additional charge to resize them.  Remnants of t-shirts will not be returned.

The sashing is a cotton print, in a color which will compliment your shirts. Navy blue, burgundy, dark gold, light blue, purple and forest green set off the shirts nicely. If you would like a particular color sashing, just let me know - I prefer not to use denim - if you've ever had cut off jeans you know how it unravels! A neutral beige tone-on-tone print fabric is used for the quilt back. (If you would like another color for the backing there may be an additional charge depending on the size of your quilt.) To indicate which side of a shirt to use, you can either pin a note to the shirt, or an easier way is to bundle the shirts together by which side you would like used and put them in separate bags, one for "front side only", "back only" or "both sides."

If you would like a personalized label, such as To: ____and From: ____, enclose a note with the information, I'll be happy to add one at no additional charge.  Labels are computer generated, printed on fabric and attached to the back of your quilt.

  • Traditional T-Shirt Quilt - A Traditional t-shirt quilt is made up of shirts that are all cut the same size, set in a grid pattern with sashing fabric between the blocks. The t-shirt design should be no larger than 14" square. I'll try my best to include as much of the design as possible for shirts with designs that are larger than 14". 

    • Select the number of shirts you would like in your quilt. Each side of a shirt counts as one shirt, for example, to use the front and back of a shirt, it counts as 2 shirts.

    _____ 24 shirts - 4 across and 6 down - approx. 64" x 96" quilt - (long twin size - will tuck under pillow) - $425
    _____ 30 shirts - 5 across and 6 down - approx. 82" x 96" quilt - (full size) - $485
    _____ 36 shirts - 6 across and 6 down - approx. 96" x 96" quilt - (queen size) - $570
    _____ 42 shirts - 7 across and 6 down - approx. 110" x 96" quilt - (king size) - $670

  • Variable T-Shirt Quilt - A Variable t-shirt quilt is made by varying the size of the t-shirt square. It is a good choice if your shirts have a lot of small pocket logos or for polo shirts.  This style quilt has sashing fabric between the blocks. The t-shirt design should be no wider than 14" and can be any length. Shirts wider than 14" may be used, however, the design may be cropped, or the orientation of the shirt may be changed (vertical vs. horizontal if the design allows) to accommodate the size of the shirt.

    Select the number of shirts you would like in your quilt. Each side of a shirt, pocket or other design counts as one shirt, for example, to use the back and the front of a shirt, it counts as 2 shirts, to use the pocket and back of a shirt, it counts as 2 shirts.

  • Quilted T-Shirt Shams - Shams can be made to compliment your t-shirt quilt. The t-shirts go on the front, they quilted on the front and have coordinating fabric on the back and are finished with a flanged edge. The back has an envelope style opening for your pillow. From 1 to 4 shirts of varying sizes are normally used to make a standard size sham - king and queen size shams can use more shirts.

  • T-Shirt Throw Pillow - Throw pillows are made to compliment your t-shirt quilt. They are quilted on the front and have coordinating fabric on the back. The back has an envelope style opening for your pillow.  1 shirt is needed per pillow.  The pillows are approximately 20" in size and take a 20" pillow form.  They can ordered with or without the pillow form insert.
